Mexican Limes (key limes)

Mexican limes (citrus aurantifolia), which are also called “key limes,” are much smaller and more nearly spherical than their Persian counterparts and are yellow when fully ripened. However, they are frequently harvested while still green. Mexican limes are primarily grown in Mexico and Peru.
