Gin trash is more than mere trash as it has nutritional value and may be used as a roughage feed for cattle. This product has an average 9% protein value and compatible the feed value of low quality bahiagrass or bermudagrass hay. Cotton Gin Trash makes an excellent textured feed when blended with molasses and other grain by-products. Cotton Gin Trash is fed mostly to cattle, but some people feed it in limited quantities to goats and horses. We recommend you consult your nutritional expert for suggested feeding regiments.
