Willem J. Boot has over 20 years of coffee business experience. He has been working in the coffee industry in different capacities: as a roast master for his own specialty coffee roasting company, as a coffee buyer for several renowned coffee companies and as a consultant for coffee companies in North America, Central America, Asia and Europe. While working as a roast master, he obtained a masters degree in business economics. As a specialized consultant he helps coffee companies to implement quality management programs and he is an expert at developing signature coffee blends. Willem is a member of the training committee of the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SC! AA). He has also written numerous articles for coffee magazines as well as manuals for the coffee profesional.
