South Tex Organics was established in 1984 by Dennis & Lynda Holbrook. Although Dennis was raised in the commercial citrus business he decided farming organically was the only way to grow the most nutritious and best tasting citrus. Organic growing is our firm commitment to providing healthy food and a healthy environment. It is nature's way and we all benefit too. The subtropical setting of the Rio Grande Valley has just the right combination of rich soil and sun drenched climate to produce not only sweet, juicy oranges, but the reddest sweet grapefruit in the world.
