Belterre Seeds is a family owned grower processor of quality pedigreed seed. We have been a member of the Ontario Seed Growers Association since 1980. We are a CSI accredited grower processor and use SECAN varieties. Belterre Seeds currently has over 30 dealers and outlets. We currently grow 500 acres of quality oats, barley, soybeans, wheat, sorghum hybrids and millet hybrids with an additional 500 acres in production by six other participating growers. In cooperation with AERC Inc. we are the only grower processor of nematode suppressing millet and sorghum hybrids that are drought resistant and adapted to the Canadian climate. Together we are providing some valuable alternatives for the Canadian farmer. Belterre Seeds has 25,000 bushels of raw seed storage and 12,000bag and 100M/T bulk warehouse storage. We have a complete conventional seed cleaning and treating plant with a separate drying, cleaning processing plant for sorghum and millet hybrids.
