Hogendoorn Farms
KWPN horses are bred to perform in dressage and showjumping at the highest level. KWPN show jumping and dressage horses are appealing, modern horses, with great eagerness, reliability and intelligence. In addition, the extremely strict KWPN breeding selection program is setting great store by soundness in the broadest sense, thereby assisted by the University of Utrecht Veterinary Department. More intensively than any other studbook organization the Dutch sport and conformation indexes have set a trend that is followed all over the world. In over a hundred years of breeding, selection and practical use, the KWPN has produced a horse that is a loyal companion for both recreation and top-sport riders. Topspeed is a syndicate with partners in Holland, Canada, New-Zealand and Australia. The Topspeed program started by Theo Griffioen and Peter Chardon. This program works to breed the highest indexing females to the bulls that deliver the highest index for Milk and Protein. There is great interest world wide in the progeny of this program. All the bull calves born on our farm out this program are tested at 21st Century in Wisconsin. Also full brothers tested in New Zealand & with Holland Genetics. Full sisters are also milking in New Zealand & Holland and are all top producers within their herds.
