The American Coopworth Registry will register all purebred Coopworth sheep that meet the breed standard. This is a new concept where Coopworth sheep are concerned but one that the ACR feels will benefit the breed as well as breeders. This new registry will also offer a performance-designated registration for Coopworth sheep that have been selected within fixed percentages based on performance and encourages its members to recognize the importance of this process.
