The Ontario Produce Marketing Association (O.P.M.A.) was founded in 1990 as a non-profit organization whose members are involved in the distribution and marketing of fresh fruit and vegetables in the province of Ontario. Members include retailers, wholesalers, brokers, shippers, fresh-cut operators, food service, carriers and other allied industries. Besides offering a wide array of services to members, the objective of the Association is to represent the views and interests of its members wherever and whenever possible. The Association is governed by a Board of nine directors. The office is situated at the Ontario Food Terminal in Toronto. Monies raised through membership fees, events and the services it provides support the work of the Association. The Association is governed by a Board of nine directors.
